New creatures in Christ



As we mourn the brutal, blameless yet necessary death of the author of our faith, let us praise Him! If not for Christ becoming a living embodiment of the word of Yahweh (YHWH), our present would be drastically different, if it happened at all. His example is our path to the kingdom of Heaven. Through Christ, we are made new and acceptable to the Father.
Christ's life work was to prove that we are not bound to sin and disaster by defeating death, the devil, and sin. He showed us how to spend eternity with the heavenly hosts. He taught that we should die to this life and be born again. This is the key to become a new creature in Him which would make us pleasing in the sight of God.
We must die daily to sin, that we may inherit the Holy Spirit, and deliverance from the depravity of humanity. To die daily to sin means to identify what is ungodly in your life and abstain from it. This can only be when YHWH is paramount, you believe Jesus is the savior of all, and you let the Holy Spirit dwell within you. This is the foundational requirement of our faith, and our path to change.
You may ask, well that makes sense, but how does this change me?  The change is that self, materialism, the flesh, and other things are not what is control of your life. The evil in this world will be forced to flee from you because no evil can stand in the presence of God! When you profess YHWH, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit as the head of your life, there is no room for evil. The roots of sin within you are dug up and cast into the pit of hell where they belong. The change is that your prison sentence handed down on you and everyone at birth has been commuted to and served by Jesus, which is death.
Paul says “Now the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, that ye may abound in hope, through the power of the Holy Ghost”. (Romans 15:13 KJV) This is the culmination of change. Now, it must be said that with this change, this denial of the devil’s allure and temptation, you are now his target.  You may be saying, great, now I have the ultimate hater gunning for me. Don’t sweat it!
If Yahweh created all things, including the devil who betrayed him, what is there to fear? God sees you have cut ties with sin, He will be elated. Jesus died for you and via resurrection sits at the right hand of, He whom we are reconciled through, that’s love! The Holy Spirit is our guide, protection, and our comforter. He made provisions for the flowers to bloom, what more will he do for you?
The devil cannot beat this….but he will attempt to twist the truth, pervert your new freedom, and attack you until you break. Don’t fear or be moved! You have the strength of the founder of the universe behind you! It may seem like this “change" has caused more trouble than good, this is the devil’s goal, but be strong and of great courage and YHWH will strengthen thine heart (paraphrased Psalm 27:14). This is not your fight, for you have gained eternal victory when chose Jesus who won the war! PRAISE ALL DAY EVERYDAY!
