7 For God has not given us a spirit of fear, but of power and of love and of a sound mind.

Fear is a prime weapon the enemy of all kinds like to use against the people of God, Yashar’El.  It’s a tactic used to force a narrative, decision, and illicit complicity, among a host of other things.  All of which are geared to one thing, stop your movement in the will of the Lord, Yahuah Elohiym.  Anything the army of evil can do to “stop” God’s progress, they will, even to their own demise.  This is why ABBA makes it clear through Paul’s 2nd letter to Timothy; I did not give you a spirit of fear.

To be clear, there is a clear delineation in the usage of fear.  Fear related to life-threatening moments is quite real.  It’s a function to save your life.  HE wired our brains to perceive fear and respond to what is in front of us.  This could be war, fire, something criminal, bad diagnosis, trauma from a past event, the unknown, or other.  HE is not negating this but reminding us of HIS command in Joshua 1:7-9: “7 Only be strong and very courageous, that you may observe to do according to all the law which Moses My servant commanded you; do not turn from it to the right hand or to the left, that you may [a]prosper wherever you go. 8 This Book of the Law shall not depart from your mouth, but you[b] shall meditate in it day and night, that you may observe to do according to all that is written in it. For then you will make your way prosperous, and then you will have good success. 9 Have I not commanded you? Be strong and of good courage; do not be afraid, nor be dismayed, for the Lord your God is with you wherever you go.””

Our main response to fear must be to turn to our Father in Heaven.  When we face these mountains, we must remember that our very present and undefeated help comes from God, nowhere else.  Even faith the size of a mustard seed will give us the power to command the things that generate fear inside us to move.  Faith in times of fear is required to allow the Holy Spirit, Ruach Ha’Qodesh, to move for us in the will of God.

In Matthew 17, a man brings his son to the Disciples and asked that they heal him from an unclean spirit.  As it were, they could not cast out the demon.  Verses 17-21 capture the reason, why it is relevant, and why must seek the Kingdom of God first in all things.  “14 And when they had come to the multitude, a man came to Him, kneeling down to Him and saying, 15 “Lord, have mercy on my son, for he is [c]an epileptic and suffers severely; for he often falls into the fire and often into the water. 16 So I brought him to Your disciples, but they could not cure him.”

17 Then Jesus answered and said, “O [d]faithless and perverse generation, how long shall I be with you? How long shall I bear with you? Bring him here to Me.” 18 And Jesus rebuked the demon, and it came out of him; and the child was cured from that very hour.

19 Then the disciples came to Jesus privately and said, “Why could we not cast it out?”

20 So Jesus said to them, “Because of your [e]unbelief; for assuredly, I say to you, if you have faith as a mustard seed, you will say to this mountain, ‘Move from here to there,’ and it will move; and nothing will be impossible for you. 21 [f]However, this kind does not go out except by prayer and fasting.””

The enemy, both of physical nature and that of principalities above us, know this and will do any and everything possible to destroy your faith in Christ, God, and the Holy Spirit.  Fear gives way to doubt, doubt eventually to unbelief.  No matter what, it is essential to stay absolute in our belief in God, Christ, and the Holy Spirit.  Doing so, will make the mountains of fear we face look like ant hills, or may be moved altogether.  Trust in ABBA’s will and HIS way, and our reward will be HIM in Heaven for all eternity.  Living in fear will result in a forever separated from HIM, Hell.
